Get equipped to help create real, sustainable change in the communities where you work. Sign up for our Church & Community Mobilisation (CCM) course and transform your approach to development.

Traditional development approaches are not sustainable

For 15 years, Eagles Malawi has been successfully empowering local churches and communities in Malawi to change their mindsets and achieve holistic change. Change that will last.

Now, through our certified course, we’re inviting you to join us and learn how to mobilise churches and communities to solve their own problems using the resources already available to them.

About the course

This certified course equips you to mobilise local churches to break mindsets of dependency and work with their community to achieve holistic change, especially for the most vulnerable.

You will learn to facilitate:

  • Bible studies to inspire churches with God's heart for justice so they care for people's physical and spiritual needs
  • Participatory activities that enable communities to prioritise problems, discover the resources they have and act together to change their lives

Requirements

The online training will involve a 1-2-hour session every two weeks and a short practical assignment. There are 15 sessions which will fully equip you as a CCM facilitator. You do not need any prior expertise or experience for this course. It may be of interest to church leaders, development professionals or anyone eager to see local churches seeking God's justice with their communities.

Eagles Relief and Development Programme has over 15 years facilitating CCM in Malawi. Expert staff members will guide you through the course.

The course is primarily designed for Christians to facilitate with local churches but is open to people of all faiths (or none). It is for anyone interested in the role of faith in behavioural change and who wants to increase participatory skills.
